Icon_th_reallymad Icon_th_signs Icon_th_Boxing Icon_th_icon_chainsaw Icon_th_thhead-smack I am SO SO mad right now!!!!!

As most of you know I just spent the week at my dad's which was ok but I had the 3 kids with me the whole time & it was VERY stressful because the kids misbehaved the whole time!!! I didn't get to do anything that didnt involve the kids while Mick was at home going out & drinking & having fun (which he does when we are home anyway Evil or Very Mad so i wont go there now) anyhoo my sis came back with me so she could watch the kids for us to go to a friends birthday dinner saturday night which was good but this morning i am informed that mick will drive her home so she doesnt have to be on the train for hours & that he would stay & watch bathurst with dad Rolling Eyes . & may aswell stay the night & go straight to work in the morning!! Well I was kinda ok with it all.....a little pissed that I am home with the kids AGAIN but not majorly annoyed.........until 10 minutes ago Icon_aby Mick just rang to tell me he was at my fave restaurant with dad & sis. The same place I couldnt got o while i was there because it is just too full on for me on my own with the 3 kids Shocked
Well it just snapped me & I am still upset about it as I'm typing. I burst into tears because I have had yet another day of the kids not listening & pushing me to the limits with NO help because once again he is out living as though he is single. I am just SO pissed off. I dont know how to express it. Why would you ring to tell me that you are there knowing that I am at home close to breaking point & not at all coping with the kids??? & knowing that i so desperately wanted to go there without the kids???

I never get to do anything because I am a mother & I have responsibilities!! I am the one at home with 3 kids because I got married!!! It's absolute bullshit & i have had enough of him & the kids!!!!

IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! Icon_aby Icon_aby Icon_aby Icon_aby

((that made me feel better! not as much as punching him in the mouth would but better all the same))

Being a mum sometimes can be soooo unfair!!! Confused Confused Confused

So sorry you are pissed right now, but I would be too.
It's no fun being tied down with kids 24 hours 7 days a week without a break or time to yourself.
I can understand how you feel, as I often feel the same resentment toward my partner sometimes.(He gets to do what he wants...while I'm constantly running around after the kids!!!He also gets heaps of free time to have a nanna nap during the day and then wonders why I'm always so damn tired. Rolling Eyes )

Your hubby obviously wasn't thinking when he phoned about being at the restaurant.
Men can be so selfish and heartless sometimes...theydon't think like us women do.

Hugs to you.

Icon_hugs_transp

I would be mighty mighty pissed off too. It's selfish, thoughtless and inconsiderate, and downright rude. Could Mick be related to my husband, I wonder?

Honestly, I know how you feel - true, I don't have 3 feral kids, I just have Angus - but all the same, Ray goes out to the pub after work, or stays at work drinking with his mates while they all no doubt talk each other up...and I'm left at home every time taking care of the baby. It's completely unfair, and when you try to say something (well, this goes for me anyway), you get a response as though you're being completely unreasonable and just a whinging woman.

Icon_th_icon_chainsaw

It's totally unfair and wrong...yet he's already at the restaurant, so what can you do, except for sit at home and seethe? Aaaaaarrrrrghhh!

I'm so sorry for you lovey, honestly I am. Icon_th_GRRR I know just how satisfying that punch in the face would be.

I hear you too.

Can you leave him at home 1 weekend with the kids and go to dads by your self?

I would say honey, dont plan anything for next weekend,we are doing something great, and on the friday when he gets home from work, just leave.

Jump on the train, and enjoy the couple of hours it takes to get there, and go to all the places you want.Ring hubby while your out enjoying your self, and see how he likes it.

You are definately not the only one with an inconsiderte DH. Somedays I feel trapped by these four walls. I know he's out working, but he DOES get 'boys' weekends away every now and then.

I don't like going anywhere, to BBQ's or anything, because I'm always the one left running around after the 3 kids, whilst he sits back and drinks with his family or friends. It's not fair at all!! His work stops on the weekends, whilst my continues 24/7. No matter where we are. Rolling Eyes

Weren't we going to organise a 'girls' night away? Wink

while i'm whinging i am a little proud of myself for something that happened.......he said to me while i was at dad's that he has done A load of washing & cleaned up Shocked BIG F'ING DEAL!!! it was just the stuff he has used & I do it all day everyday!! The good part is.....I actually said it.....out loud cheeky I felt like i'd eaten a block of chocolate Wink it was awesome....such a release.

Poor Amanda! Reading your post even made me mad Icon_th_reallymad and wanna join in the hunt for you hubby! Twisted Evil

Men can be so insensitive - they just EXPECT its the "womens" job to do the baby sitting, cleaning, cooking etc.

Sounds like you need to take a night off from the kids and go out! You need to put your foot down and tell him you've made plans so he's going to having to look after the kids. Then you can go and let your hair down!!

Icon_th_ShowLetter3 Sending you a lots of big hugs.

Look out Cairns Very Happy

Give the kids some red cordial before you leave, and if they nap in the day at all, give it a miss too.

Let him see exactly what he misses out on good
