I love Aldi nappies and pull up type pants.

I don't like the meat, we never buy meat products there as friends suffered food poisining and Aldi admitted they were at fault to them personally and offered a small settlement (about $200 worthof goods i believe).

I've never heard anything bad about Aldi products, whether it be their meat or anything else. Their nappies are really good and I've found that all Aldi products are at least as good, often better, than the other supermarket brands. And the prices are great!! cool cool

Sadly, Aldi is another thing we don't have over here. Rolling Eyes

We shop at Aldi (now that I live with Mum).

Everything we get is great - no complaints. Although its like everything, you do need to test taste first.

They have these YUMMY biscuits called "Palazzo" - I'd recommend them to anyone!

we DONT shop at aldi..

a few years ago a few friends of mine lost their small businesses when aldi's opened in their areas cos they just couldnt compete.. so for us its really a matter of principal.. would rather support the small guy than guve our money to some huge company who sends its profits elsewhere..

i look through their catalogues all the time and wish i could go there though Crying or Very sad and if it werent for dh;s stubborness i probably would sometimes.. but really, he is only standing up for what he believes in, and im sure the friends i knew then were not the only ones who went bust because of them..

i do, i go to aldi and buy what i can from there but then go to coles and get the rest from there.

eg i dont buy personal products from aldi, i do but some meats, especially the roasts and whole chooks!!

i also find the dairy to be just as good and alot cheaper. fruit and veg come in great fresh sizes and way cheaper than any other supermarket...

but like i said, there are stil some things i just get from a regular supermarket

cool cool

i think most people are the same. you buy some things fromm aldi then head off to do the rest at the bigger stores. I have noticed that aldi has increased its range in the last few years too so you need less at other stores.

i heard walmarts is looking at coming to Oz? only heard the tail end of something on the radio could have heard wrong does anyone know?

I heard ages ago that Walmart were expanding to Australia, but nothing came of it. Maybe they're having another go. Icon_th_confused-dontknow4

Yep, it sure is Tarz. It's a big American discount department store.
